Andante 4 Sradivari pattern violin

Stradivari pattern violin. "The Andante 4" from the workshop of Paul Michael Stanton represents a step up in crafmanship and finish from our slightly less expensive instruments . The timber generally has a deeper flame and the fittings and case are of a higher quality. As in the description of the previous intermediate instruments these violins are entirely hand made by European trained violin makers. The front is carved from high quality evenly spaced tonewood. The two piece back, ribs and scroll from highly figured selected maple. The instrument has an excellent tone and is evenly balanced over the four strings. The violin is covered with a deep and beautiful amber varnish over a strong golden ground. Please note that unlike many sellers I am a professional violin maker and Newark violin school graduate and each instrument is set up to the highest of professional standards before it leaves my workshop. The ebony pegs complete with Parisian eye detail are re-seated to ensure smooth operation. The finger board is re-surfaced and an Aubert bridge is hand cut to ensure correct string heights (I normally charge £95 for this alone). In addition I lower the nut to the correct tolerences to enable extending back into the half positions as trouble free as possible. The violin comes with a "Wittner style" integrated tailpiece for ease of tuning and a Guarneri pattern chin rest. Altogether a superb looking instrument that we don't think you will better for less than £600. Suitable for players of all levels. Complete with good quality bow, rectangle styro foam hard case with music pocket and provision for two bows, rosin and carry straps. If you would like a sound file of this violin being played let me know.
